Event Recap
28 residents attended in-person and an additional 37 tuned in online and from our satellite location in Northampton.
Residents from across the Pioneer Valley region came to our statewide listening series event in Holyoke on Thursday, Sept. 14th. The presentation and discussions touched on various aspects of digital equity, including language barriers, affordability, and access to devices. We heard directly from residents about critical issues related to affordability and accessibility and learned a lot about the community.
Thank you to our partners Frank Robinson, Baystate Health VP, Michael DeChiara, Alliance for Digital Equity, Eric Weiss, Pioneer Valley Planning Commission (PVPC), staff at the City of Holyoke, Tech Foundry, Springfield Partners for Community Action, and Stacy Graves from the HCC MGM Culinary Arts Institute for hosting us! We would also like to thank the Forbes Library – Northampton's Public Library and the Lenox Library for preparing and hosting the satellite sessions. We are grateful for all of those that assisted in our outreach efforts as well.
