In 2024, the Massachusetts Broadband Institute (MBI) celebrated continued growth of digital access across the state. This year, MBI will once again honor the work and economic progress happening across the Bay State to increase paths to digital access with the 2025 event: Massachusetts Goes DigitALL.
The 2025 event will take place on Wednesday, October 8 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Top of the Tower in Worcester. Join the MBI team and members of the digital ecosystem for a day filled with inspiration from those providing digital learning opportunities in community, perspectives from industry leaders and policymakers, and valuable networking opportunities.
MBI will once again honor and celebrate Massachusetts’ remarkable achievements in bridging the digital divide with the Digital Ecosystem Awards. These awards are dedicated to recognizing the outstanding efforts of individuals and organizations making a significant impact through their work.
The awards will spotlight exceptional contributions in the categories of Digital Access Champion and Excellence in Community Impact. One honoree will be selected in each category. Applications must be submitted no later than 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, September 10. Applicants may nominate a peer individual/organization or themselves/the organization they represent. Awards will be presented live at the celebration on Wednesday, October 8 in Worcester.

A Digital Access Champion is an individual who demonstrates expertise and sustained commitment to digital access programs, exemplary leadership, and a dedication to serving communities and individuals for whom the digital divide is the greatest.
The Excellence in Community Impact Award recognizes an organization that has addressed the digital divide for those most in need in their community. This organization is viewed as a trusted local institution and “the place to go” when community partners or residents need help using the internet, accessing devices or gaining digital skills.
